The name "Landfall" holds a special significance for our family and this cherished property. Originally a beloved farm acquired from a distinguished admiral, the name evokes the joyous cry of "Landfall!" – the moment a sailor returns home after a long voyage. For the admiral, this land was his haven. We've honored this legacy, weaving nautical touches like our anchor and lighthouse throughout the property, a nod to his service and the feeling of coming home.
Landfall became a venue through a series of heartfelt moments. It began with the Hunter Crane Foundation, hosting its inaugural family hunting and fishing day here in 2014, a tribute to a young life tragically lost. We are incredibly proud that the foundation, born here at Landfall, has flourished, providing over [Insert Amount] in local scholarships over the past 11 years.
Then came personal milestones: our eldest son's desire for a relaxed barn celebration after his destination wedding, followed by our second child choosing the farm as the backdrop for their own wedding. The beauty and tranquility of Landfall resonated with our family and guests, leading to a growing number of inquiries for events. Inspired, and seeking to share this special place, we embarked on a significant renovation, including a $200,000 investment in the Lodge and a permanent tent pad, ready for our youngest son's tented reception this June. Welcome to Landfall Lodge
Ceremony Location
Our dedicated outdoor ceremony space offers a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere for your loved ones to witness your commitment. Natural wooden benches provide ample seating for up to 180 guests, seamlessly blending with the surrounding landscape. We also provide 12 sophisticated chiavari chairs, reserved for your cherished family members such as parents, grandparents, and children, ensuring they have a prime view of your special exchange. With the calming presence of our pond as your backdrop, your ceremony will be both beautiful and deeply personal.
The Barn
Our stunning barn provides a flexible and inviting space for up to 200 guests to celebrate in comfort. A standout feature is the delightful wrap-around porch, offering panoramic views of the picturesque property, including our beautiful horses. This outdoor space is furnished with charming tables and umbrellas, perfect for guests to step out, socialize, and soak in the fresh air. For seamless service, the barn also includes a dedicated bar area, ready for your chosen bartenders or catering team.
Bridal Suite
Our stunning bridal suite offers ample space for the bride and her bridal party to prepare in style and comfort. Approximately double the size of our groom's suite and featuring a private bathroom, it provides a relaxed and luxurious environment for hair and makeup, dressing, and those cherished pre-ceremony moments.
Groom Suite
Our well-appointed groom's suite offers a private retreat for the groom and his party. Measuring 8x10, it's the perfect space to get ready in comfort, share a few laughs, and prepare for the momentous occasion ahead.
